Most knobs with this brown swirl of clay motif are referred to as “Bennington” knobs. The true Bennington knob is somewhat different than this one, but this is still a very fine old knob. We see these brown swirly knobs mostly in door knobs, but this one is a cabinet knob, which makes it more special.
The knob measures 1 1/2 inches across the top and projects from the face of the drawer almost one inch. The set-in screw is 7/8 inches long. We sure wish we had more of these.
