This shape of glass knob is uncommon. It is different than the standard hexagon and fluted glass knobs of the 1920s and 1930s. This knob is a large 1 7/8 inches across and has eight sides. We suspect it is older and may date to before 1900. It stands 1 3/4 inches from the face of the cabinet.
This knob needs to be fastened with a smooth-headed bolt that goes through the knob and cabinet door or drawer. It is then secured with a nut on the backside. There are choice bolts elsewhere in our catalog.
Because this is such an outstanding knob, we suggest it be placed in a highly visible spot to show off your good taste!
