This Hepplewhite pull has the flower in the center. Around the edge of the oval is a bead design. The bail is plain. All of this is typical of the Hepplewhite style. The finish looks like the dark brass or bronze color, popular in the 1940s. The pull measures 2 1/2 inches across and 1 3/4 inches vertically. It is a single-post pull with the mounting post in the center of the back plate. As usual on single-post pulls, there is a hole at the base of the back plate for inserting a small nail to secure the pull to the drawer so it won’t turn on the mounting post.
