This blown glass knob may have come from the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company of Sandwich, Mass. We definitely feel that this knob dates from the 1850s to 1870s. The two-inch knob is “footed” with a base that measures 1 1/2 inches across. A wide-headed bolt is used to fasten the knob to a drawer. There are no chips or cracks. There is some roughness around where the head of the bolt rubbed against the glass.
The knob projects 1 1/2 inches from the surface. If you are in need of a bolt, contact us.
