This beautiful old mid-1800s knob is slightly smaller than others we have measured. This is not surprising because each of these knobs were hand-blown individually at the Boston and Sandwich Glass Company in Sandwich, Massachusetts.
The knob measures 2 inches across the top and its base has a diameter of 1 3/8 inches. The knob projects 2 1/8 inches from the surface. The swirl pattern extends into the base of the knob.
The knob is in excellent condition. There is a chip on top where the old bolt use to rest.
We feel very fortunate to have found these knobs and hope we can help you finish out that beloved chest of drawers.
