This two-armed acorn hook probably was used in a closet or wardrobe. It is more dainty than the heavy school-house hook. It dates from about 1900 to 1940.
The cast iron hook’s upper arm measures 3 inches long; the lower hook projects 1 1/4 inches from the surface. Each arm is tipped with an acorn motif.
The back plate measures 7/8 inch across and 1 7/8 inches vertically. Two screws are needed to fasten the hook to the wall.
The two screws will be provided.
