This inset cabinet hinge was manufactured by the Amerock Hardware Co., an off-shoot of the older National Lock Company of Rockford, Ill. This hinge probably comes out of the 1950s and 1960s. It is an original hinge. This style of hinge was used a lot for kitchen and bathroom cabinets. The chrome hinge is an inset one that fastens to the door from the backside. The stylized wing and spine mount on the frame of the cabinet while the door that butts up to the frame is fastened down from the back. The inset is 3/8 inch.
The narrow wing, that mounts on the frame, measures 2 3/4 inches long and 3/8 inch wide. The entire narrow wing, the spine and platform measures 7/8 inch wide. The larger wing, that fastens to the back of the door, measures 1 1/8 inches horizontally and 1 1/2 inches vertically.
Screws will be included.
