This Art Nouveau pull is larger than most. It probably had a rubbed copper finish at one time, but that is now gone. What remains is a bare steel stamped back plate and a heavy cast iron bail. The current attractive condition works well with a shabby piece of furniture, chest, or vintage bench with a drawer.
The back plate measures 4 3/4 inches horizontally and 2 5/8 inches vertically. There are five holes for screwing the plate to the drawer.
Because the bail is wide and heavy, Miss Margaret envisions this piece being used to hold jewelry. Who says that we have to use it on a drawer? Screws will be included.
