This old cabinet hinge was made by the National Lock Company of Rockford, Illinois. They organized in 1903 to manufacture locks and furniture hardware. This hinge probably comes from the early 1900s. The hinge is stamped with the company’s initials.
The hinge, with its ball finials, is steel but has a brass-tone finish. It measures 1 3/4 inches vertically and 1 1/4 inches across both wings. Each wing is 5/8 inch wide.
We have not polished this hinge but has left its natural patina. It has been oiled, however, so it works smoothly and is ready to install.
Screws will be included.
