This pair of brass door knobs are from the Art Deco era of the 1920s to the 1940s. We have not polished this set, for they maintain a deep almost butterscotch patina. The knobs measure 2 1/4 inches across and almost 1 1/4 inches deep, but the shape of the knob gives it a fat-belly look. The top of the knob has a circle pattern, with an indented circle grove stamped into the knob.
The pair is in very good condition. There are a couple of very slight dimples in one knob. The color, shape, and condition of this pair makes this set a nice, nice set. A spindle and two set screws are included.
