This pair is most unusual. The knobs have a “bugged-eyed” look. The shape of the knob itself is smaller and deep. The surface has the circle pattern with two rings. The center, though, is convex which gives us an impression of being “bugged-eyed.”
The knobs measure 2 inches across, which is smaller than normal. They are approximately 1 1/8 inches deep. The knobs are in very good condition, with no dents or dings. We have only lightly cleaned this pair, no polishing. They have their aged patina still intact.
This pair would go nicely with any Art Deco back plate. They have come out of the 1920s or 1930s. A spindle and two set screws are included.
