This heavy brass piece goes along the bottom of a bar to hold a foot rail. It screws to the bar and has a foot that presses against the floor. The bracket holds a 2-inch brass (or wood) rail.
The distance between the foot and back plate is nine inches. The back plate that screws to the bar measures 2 1/4 inches across and 1 1/8 inches vertically. There are two holes for large screws. The foot measures 2 inches by one inch. The ring, that holds the rail, has a set screw and is 1 1/8 inches wide.
