This beautiful Eastlake door hinge was manufactured from 1870 to 1890. It is heavily decorated with a scale-like pattern along with the Eastlake dailies and bamboo stocks. The hinge appears to be brass, but it could also be cast bronze which was a favored casting media during the later 1800s.
This 4″ by 4″ flat hinge has the round finials and is also decorated on the exposed portion of the back of the hinge. The spine has no decoration on either the front or back.
The length of the hinge from finial tip to finial tip is 5 3/4 inches. We have lightly cleaned and oiled the hinge. It is loose and ready to use. Eight screws will be included.
