The bail, Victorian posts, and square nuts tell us that this drawer pull is from the Eastlake era and is quite old, 1870 to 1890. The back plate is plain stamped brass, with no pattern whatsoever, but the bail has decoration.
The back plate measures 4 inches horizontally but is only 3/4 inch wide. The total drop including the bail is 1 3/8 inches. The hole centers are 3 inches apart. The bolts extend from the back of the plate one inch. The square nuts are included.
