This offer is for two pieces–a pair. These are from the Victorian era (1870s to about 1915). The pair also shows the Eastlake influence within that era. They are brass (or bronze) cast. This hardware is for a pocket door; they recess into the door, and the face is then flush to the surface of the door.
Each plate measures 5 1/2 inches long and 1 7/8 inches wide. They are secured with two screws, 5 inches apart. The inset is approximately 1/2 inch deep. The opening of the inset is 2 7/8 inches by 1 3/16 inch.
The pair is used and in good condition. The maker is unknown. We have done some light cleaning. Screws will be included.
