This latch was made for a Hoosier cabinet. It has the large “H” on it and dates from 1905 to the 1920s. It is all brass with the exception of the catch lever. It operates well and has its original springs.
The latch back plate measures 2 1/4 inches vertically and 1 1/8 inch across. It is fastened to the door with two screws. The handle is 1 1/2 inches long. The catch lever is steel and projects one inch.
There are two keepers with this set. One is short for a flush-set door, and the other is longer to allow for the space for an off-set door.
We will provide brass screws.
