This hinge is of the Victorian-age design and even reminds us of the popular Eastlake patterns of the late 1800s. It has an off set, but it is a deeper than most — 7/16-inch. The hinge is the aged dark brass.
The smaller wing that mounts on the frame of the box, measures one inch deep and 1 3/4 inches vertically, The hole centers are 1 1/4 inches. The longer wing, that fastens to the door, measures 2 1/4 inches long and 1 3/4 inches vertically.
The hinge has been lightly cleaned. It is loose and ready to use. Brass screws will be included. Estimated age is from 1890 to 1920.
