Even though this pair of heavy brass hinges were made for an ice box, they would look great on an old chest or trunk. They do have a 3/8-inch off set which is for the off set door or lid. This pair dates to around the beginning of the 20th Century.
The fancy butterfly-style wings, that mount on the frame of the ice box, measure 1 1/2 inches deep and 2 1/2 inches vertically. The hole centers are 1 7/8 inches. The larger wings, that are screwed to the door, measure 2 3/4 inches long 2 inches at the widest point.
We have lightly cleaned this pair. Brass screws will be included.
