This latch is for an off set door. The keeper, that is mounted on the box (or frame), is off-set from the latch by 3/8 inch. Its back plate measures 2 1/4 inches vertically and 5/8 inch across. The “hook” or keeper is 1 5/8 inches tall. Hole centers are 1 3/4 inches.
The latch, at one time, had a key and could be locked. Now, there is no key.
This is a beautiful brass latch. We will include brass screws as well.
