This brass pull or handle looks like a swing bail without a back plate, but the pull is one solid piece. Behind the ends are post inserts, 3/8 inch long, that push into the wood. Screws are then inserted from the back of the drawer to thread into the posts. After the handle is installed, it projects from the surface approximately 7/8 inch.
This is an old handle with 3-inch hole centers. It was likely used on a piece of furniture. Measuring 3 1/2 inches wide, there is enough room for a four-finger grab. The handle is also heavy enough to stand quite a bit of weight and pull.
We have not cleaned this one. It has years of patina. You could polish the handle to a brass shine. Original screws will be included.
