This brass knob is from the Victorian era, 1880-1915. It is like a fancy flower and is an open filigree knob. The special feature of this pull is the back plate. Attached to the stem of the knob is a lacy back plate.
The knob measures 1 1/4 inches across the top. It projects from the surface of the drawer 5/8 inch. The back plate is one inch round. On the underneath side of the back plate, are two small barbs to dig into the wood.
We have not cleaned this pull. It has darkened through the years and has an aged patina. It could be polished to a bright brassy shine. The original screw and washer will be included.
