This beautiful jar stands 6 1/2″ tall and is entirely intact–entire label
and original lid. Approximate age: 1940s. This Butter-nut coffee was
“Regular Grind for Pots and percolators.” The jar was designed to be
reused as a canning jar when empty, for it will take “a regular Mason cap
and rubber.” The coffee was roasted by Paxton and Gallagher Company
out of Omaha, Nebraska. No cracks or chips.
