This Victorian set is awesome. The four pulls are heavy cast brass which have darkened over the years to a warm brown. The very fancy back plates of leaves are much different than any other pulls we have. The back plates also have a finial or tassel that hangs down from the center. Now, one may say, “Oh but that finial really goes on top.” We know, though, that it goes on the bottom because the posts are riveted into the plates and the bails hang that way. The bail is also an open pattern (filigree), which is quite unusual.
Each back plate measures 5 1/4 inches across by 1 1/2 inches vertically, not counting the tassel. The drop from the top of the plate to the bottom of the bail is 2 1/2 inches.
Part of this family of pulls, are two matching key escutcheons. Since we don’t like to break families apart, these two pieces are part of this package. Each one measures 1 7/8 inches by 1 1/4 inches.
In our store, this is one-of-a-kind.
Need more than four pulls? We have two more matching pulls and escutcheons. But only one matching bail and one non-matching bail. Call if we can assist you in additional pieces.
