This fairly large cast-bronze door escutcheon was for covering the key hole on the back side of a passage door. It is from the Eastlake era (1870-1890).
This attractive key escutcheon measures 2 1/4 inches vertically and 1 1/8 inches horizontally. The key hole opening is 3/4 inch long. Small screws or brass nails will be included for mounting.
