This Victorian latch from an era before 1900, has a turn knob similar to the old window latches from the same era. It also is square-ish and heavy like the window latches. This style of latch, however, was placed on cabinets or stand-alone cupboards. The heavily decorated cast-iron latch is all original, including the keeper. It is in good working order. The body measures 1 3/4 inches long and 2 1/8 inches wide. With the keeper, the overall length is,2 3/4 inches. This is an exceptional latch. We will include black flat-headed screws.
