This heavy cast-iron hook is the larger hook—larger than a coat hook, but not as large as some of the barn hooks. This one could be used in a variety of ways and places. Its not too large for a “back-porch” hook, yet could be used in the barn or shed for heavier items.
The top arm of this hook projects 6 inches from the surface. The lower arm, 2 3/4 inches. The hook is fastened with four wood screws, which will give the hook a lot of weight power. The back plate measures 3 1/4 inches vertically and 1 3/4 inches across.
This size is somewhat uncommon. This is an old one; quite useful.
