When sales were generated from a hand-written ticket, the popular “holder” of these tickets was the ticket spindle that sat next to the cash register. Many restaurants used these handy spindles as well as other retail stores.
This piece has a cast iron base that measures 2 1/4 inches in diameter. The spindle is 4 3/4 inches long. There is a slight hint of green color on the base.
This is a piece of yesterday’s history and memories.
