This handsome, highly decorated door plate is cast iron with a copper or bronze rubbed finish. It is from the Victorian era, 1880s to 1915.
The plate measures 8 1/2 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide. The key hole is 2 inches below the door knob hole. The plate weighs 6 ounces. Screws will be provided.
This beautiful piece of art doesn’t have to be used on a door. It is a fine artifact from early US craftsmen.
