This is an old piece, probably new-old-stock. The handle is chrome (or possibly nickel). The push button appears to be flashed copper which was used extensively in the first 20 years of the 20th Century. This set consists of three pieces: the handle, the push button mechanism and the keeper (or catch).
The handle measures 3 1/4 inches vertically. The two small holes for mounting are 2 3/4 inches apart. The top back plate, around the button, is 3/4 inches across. The handle is 3/8 inches wide. The depth of the spring mechanism behind the button is 3/4 inch. The keeper measures one inch by 1/2 inch. Screws are provided.
This cabinet latch would work well on an old kitchen cabinet.
