This exquisite furniture pull comes from the Eastlake era, 1870-1890s. It has the very strong Eastlake influence with its triangles and geometric pattern. The swing bail also has the 90-degree corners that is so typical of the Eastlake era. The piece is heavy stamped brass. The eye bolts, that hold the swing bail, are riveted into the back plate and extend beyond the back plate 1 1/8 inches.
The furniture pull is inserted into the front of the drawer and fastened secure on the back of the drawer with two nuts. The two original nuts are included.
The back plate measures 4 inches horizontally and 1 3/4 inches vertically. The total drop of the pull, including the bail, is 2 inches. The hole centers are 3 inches.
This is fine antique that is in excellent condition.
