This cast brass Eastlake plate (1870-1890) shows the well-known Eastlake motif of triangles and pyramids. The fish scale pattern around the key hole is also a Charles Eastlake trait. This back plate measures 5 1/4 inches long and 1 3/4 inches wide. The door knob hole center is 2 1/8 inches from the key hole. Eastlake back plates can be paired with Eastlake brass knobs or with porcelain knobs.
