Latches of this age and in this condition with both original pieces are extremely hard to acquire. This turn latch is cast iron and has the beautiful Eastlake pattern. In the latter part of the 19th Century, latches such as this were used on large cupboards.
The overall latch measures 2 1/4 inches square. It projects from the surface 1 1/2 inches. The knob is 1 1/8 inches round. The latch itself is 2 1 /4 inches by 1 5/8 inches. The keeper is 5/8 inches wide.
This latch has been cleaned and is loose. It will make any cabinet pop with class! Black slotted screws will be included.
