Of all the Eastlake back plates, here at the store, we particularly like the cast iron ones. The black iron is rich looking and always heavily decorated. The Eastlake (1870-1890s) plates are smaller than most other back plates, this one measuring 5 1/8 inches long by 1 3/8 inches wide. The door knob hole center is 2 inches from the key hole. Suggested knob for this plate: a cast iron knob or a black or white porcelain knob. ,We will include screws.
