This beautiful pair comes from the Eastlake era (1870-1890). The pattern is border-line Victorian with curves and leaves, but the size of the plates and the triangles within the pattern points more to the Eastlake influence. The pair is in great condition.
Each plate measures 5 5/8 inches by 1 7/8 inches. The space between the door knob hole and the key hole is 2 1/8 inches.
We suggest a pair of brass Eastlake knobs to go with these plates. We are talking about top-of-the-line quality here, door hardware that is the best.
