This tear drop is of the average size. It hangs from a yoke-style hinge at the end of a brass headed post/bolt. The part that is different about this Eastlake drop is its finial. This brass tip is longer and more noticeable than most on other Eastlake tear drops. We have not cleaned this antique piece. It is in excellent condition.
The wood drop measures 1 1/4 inches across and is 2 inches long (including the finial). The convex back plate is 1 1/2 inches round. The bolt, that feeds into the front of the drawer, is 2 1/4 inches long. A square nut is included.
This furniture pull dates from 1870 to 1890.
