This beautiful Victorian hook probably came off of one of those entry-way hall tree bench furniture pieces. The heavily-decorated hook has an upper arm that points 3 1/2 inches straight up, capped with a flat platform for the hat. There are two lower arms, or hooks, for the coats and scarves. The piece protrudes 3 1/2 inches from the surface. The hook is fastened to the tree with two large screws, hole centers are 1 1/8 inches apart. The back plate measures 2 1/2 inches by 1 3/4 inches. The cast piece has a deep bronze finish. This one is exceptional!
