This pair of buffet or dresser pulls appears to be a dull steel, but a magnet does not stick, so they may be pewter. They date from approximately the 1930s to 1940s. The back plate is 1 3/8 inches round. It has a small hole at the base so a small screw or nail can be inserted to fasten the plate so it won’t twirl on the mounting post. The pendant hangs from the center of the back plate, behind which is the mounting screw. The overall drop (length) of the pull, including the back plate and pendant, is 2 inches. Screws are included.
