This is an outstanding late 1800s to early 1900s furniture pull. Instead of a back plate that we see so often, this drawer pull has the swing bail coming off of two rosettes. Each rosette has a Victorian post with a flat, oval head. The bail and posts are heavy cast brass.
The bail is heavily decorated with leaves and curves. Its ears point out and insert into the brass posts. The center oval “button” on the bail matches the shape of the flat-topped posts. (note photo) The hole centers are 3 inches. The rosettes are 1 1/8 inches round.
The furniture pull is fastened with screws inserted from the back of the drawer. We have not cleaned this item. It has many years of patina. You could, however, polish it to a bright brass. Screws will be included.
