Butterfly hinges such as these were usually found on kitchen cabinets or jelly cupboards, etc. We have this kind of butterfly hinge in several mediums, but the flashed copper is the most uncommon. Because these are flashed copper, they date to the first twenty years of the 20th Century.
This pair are flat hinges. Both leafs are to be exposed on the front of the cabinet. The two wings are the same, measuring 1/34 inches by one inch. The full width of the hinge is 2 1/4 inches.
If you need these, don’t wait too long. Screws are included.
