This very unusual cabinet hinge was made by the National Lock Company of Rockford, Illinois sometime in the early years of the 20th Century. The company organized in1903 and ceased to make fasteners for furniture in the mid 1960s. We feel this piece was manufactured before 1920 because of its flashed copper finish. The national flag logo is stamped on the back of the hinge.
This hinge is a flat butterfly hinge that fastens on the front of the door. It measures 1 1/2 inches vertically and 3 inches across both wings. Each wing is 1 1/2 inches wide.
We will include old screws.
