This butterfly hinge is unusual because of it flashed copper treatment and its shape. This pair is not a typical butterfly hinge but is unique in its design and style. It is a flat hinge, meant to have both leafs exposed on the surface of the cabinet. It flashed copper treatment dates the pair to the first years of the 20th Century. We believe this hinge may have come off of a Indiana-style kitchen cabinet (Hoosier, Sellers, etc.).
The longer leaf measures 1 3/4 inches wide (long) and 1 3/8 inches vertically. the small leaf measures 3/4 inch by 1 3/8 inches. The hole spread on the both leafs is one inch.
This pair is used. We have cleaned them. They are loose and ready to be used. Bronze screws are included.
