This little back plate (for a door knob) was possibly meant for a screen door or small passage door. There is no place for a key hole. Since it has the flashed copper treatment, this plate was made from about 1900 to 1925. The fragile flashing has kept intact on this piece. The plate shows some usage, but is still in good condition.
The plate measures 3 1/4 inches vertically and 1 3/4 inches horizontally. The door knob hole is in the center at 1 5/8 inches from the top and bottom edge.
Screws will be included.
