This large 4-inch pair of hinges are of the butterfly pattern that is difficult to find. They were manufactured from 1900 to the 1920s. Originally, the pair had the flashed copper treatment, but through the years this coating has rubbed off or has been compromised. There is still hints of the copper showing. The hinges are in good working order. We have cleaned and oiled them.
The wing that is embedded into the frame (mortised), measures 4 inches by 1 3/4 inches. The butterfly wing measures 4 inches by 2 3/4 inches. From tip of ball finial to tip of ball finial is 5 1/4 inches.
Screws will be provided.
