This back plate is in very good condition, but does show some surface ware. Flashed copper back plates are stamped steel which have been plated with a copper finish. Then a black lacquer is flashed over the hardware.,The “look” was extremely popular from 1900 to well into the late 1920s and early 1930s. This beaded-edged piece measures 7 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide. The door knob hole center is 2 1/4 inches from the key hole. ,Screws will be included.
