This handle was used for lifting a window sash. Because of its flashed-copper finish, we date this handle from 1900 to the 1920s. The handle consists of a bar fastened between to end brackets.
The entire handle measures 4 inches long. The back plate on the end brackets are 1 3/8 inches by 5/8 inch. Each plate has two holes for screws, 7/8 inch apart. The bar is 2 5/8 inches long and 3/8 inches thick. The handle projects from the surface one inch.
Screws will be included.
