This very old cast iron piece of hardware was used to bolt a door from the inside. It was mounted on the surface of the door at the top. This piece still has its original pull chain and keeper. There is no pattern.
The bolt plate, that contains the plunger and spring, measures 5 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. The matching keeper, which mounts on the frame of the door, measures 2 inches across and 5/8 inch wide. It projects 1 1/8 inches from the surface.
The plunger is controlled by the pull chain. The piece is in good working condition. Screws will be provided.
