This heavy iron bracket with a hook was obviously made to hold something quite heavy. Its two-arm construction, with each arm mounted to a beam or post, will hold a heavy plant, horse tack, light fixture, or anything else.
The iron arms of the bracket and hook measure 5/8 inch round. The entire piece projects from the surface 14 inches. The top arm is at about a 90-degree angle from the surface. Its back plate measures 3 1/4 inches long and 7/8 inch wide. The two holes are 1 1/2 inches apart. The lower arm, which provides the added support, has a back plate of 2 inches by 7/8 inch. There is one screw hole.
The hook is 2 inches wide and approximately 2 1/2 inches deep. The bracket weighs 2 pounds, 12 ounces.
