This hinge was manufactured by the National Lock Company of Rockford, Illinois. The company started to produce locks and furniture hardware in 1903. This hinge dates to c. 1910 to 1920s. The logo on the back of the hinge says: “N.L.Co Rockford.”
The hinge is steel with a nickel finish. It was made to fit an off-set door on a kitchen cabinet like a Hoosier or Sellers. The off-set is 3/8 inch. The hinge measures 1 1/2 inch vertically. Each wing is 3/4 inch wide.
The hinge is a surface hinge where one wing is fastened onto the frame and the other one is mounted to the door. It is a used hinge but remains in good working shape. Screws will be included.
