This set of ten drawer pulls will finish off a five-drawer chest to become absolutely stunning! These pulls are very large and come from the Victorian era (1860-1915). The pulls were meant for a large drawer like the ones we see on blanket chests or high-boy chests.
Each of the matching pulls are all brass. The back plate is rather plain, but the rosettes behind the two posts and the large heavy bail, with its cut-out filigree pattern, is the eye-catching stunning part. The back plate measures 6 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches vertically. The two rosettes for the posts are permanently applied to the back plate. The large-headed posts, measuring 5/8 inches across, hold the swing bail. The bail is 6 inches wide and hangs below the back plate; thus, it does not cover up the plate. The overall drop from the top of the back plate to the bottom of the bail is 4 3/8 inches.
On the back, the posts extend 1/2 inch into the wood. Screws are then inserted from the back of the drawer to thread into these posts. Original screw are included.
