In an era where brass dominates, this nickel-plated drawer pull is unusual. From its straight boxed lines and 90-degree cornered bail, we know that this treasure comes from out of the Eastlake era, 1870-1890. The Eastlake daisy can also be seen on the face of the plate. The bail is solid and decorated on both sides.
The stamped nickel back plate measures 4 inches horizontally and 1 5/8 inches vertically. The total drop including the bail is 2 inches. The center pyramid on the plate pops out from the surface. The bolts extend 1 1/2 inches from the back of the plate. Old square nuts are included.
We have cleaned this piece very little. It is in excellent condition. Call us for any questions.
